On an autumn day a woman with a little boy and a little girl went for a walk in the woods and when they were there it began to rain and the sky got dark and there was thunder and lightning.
The children stood underneath a tree and their mother told them to leave that tree because it was dangerous.
The children came out immediately and at the same moment a ray of lightning fell which split the tree, they went beside their mother, rushed home, giving thanks to God that nothing had happened to them.
This teaches us that we have to obey our parents and superiors.
En un día de otoño iban de paseo una mujer con un niño y una niña iban por el bosque y cuando fuerón allí, empezó a llover y el cielo a oscuracerse y hacer relampagos y truenos.
Los niños se pusierón de bajo de un árbol y su madre les dijo que marcharen de quel árbol que era peligroso.
Los niños salierón en seguida y el mismo momento cayó un relampago que partio el árbol, se pusierón al lado de su madre marcharón de prisa a casa, dando, G. a D. [gracias a Dios] por no haberles pasado nada.
Esto no [nos] enseña que tenemos que obeceder a nuestros padres y personas superiores.
